Ronnie joined the Veterans of Foreign Wars in 1969 while he was serving in Vietnam. Ronnie has played an active role in VFW Post 5108 throughout the years. He served as Post Commander in 1997-1998. During that year, the Post received All-State. He has also served as Post Quartermaster for the past 6 years. Ronnie was District 5 Commander in 2002-2003. At the Department level Ronnie has served as the POW/MIA Chairman 2009-2010, Membership Chairman 2010-2011, Scouting Chairman 2009-2010, and Department Surgeon 2012-2013. He is a member of the National Scouting Team. Ronnie currently serves as the Department Judge Advocate, Department Scouting Chairman, holds a seat on the VFW of Ohio Charities Board, and Quartermaster for Post 5108 and District 5.
